After a year of basking in the glory of being the Sexiest Man Alive, Idris Elba has handed over the title to American multiple award winner John Legend.

An honor no doubt, but the singer feels the title puts a considerable amount of pressure on him especially since he’s taking over from none other than the delectable Idris Elba. “Everyone’s going to be picking me apart to see if I’m sexy enough to hold this title…I’m (also) following Idris Elba, which is not fair and is not nice to me!” he stressed.

His wife Chrissy Teigen’s reaction is pretty typical. She’s of course over the moon and has already changed her Twitter bio to “currently sleeping with People’s sexiest man alive”. The couple’s three-year-old daughter Luna Simone, however, has a totally different reaction.

When her mother broke the news that her father has been named the Sexiest Man Alive by People Magazine, Luna simply couldn’t give a hoot and just wanted to watch TV. Chrissy Teigen posted the video on her Twitter with the caption “The kids…do not care”.
