Shatta Wale Dashes His Award To Stonebowy, Declares The Beef Between Them Is Over

Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy are two Ghanaian reggae/dancehall artistes who are consistently battling for one thing or another in Ghana’s music industry.

Recently, the two music icons were involved in a scuffle at the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) which ended up with the two in Ghana’s law court.

It was only few days ago that Stonebowy responded to the beef between him and Shatta Wale in an interview with Abeiku Santana of Okay Fm; an Accra based radio station, that he will continue to beef Shatta.

And now, it seems Shatta Wale has brought finality to the issue when he took the stage at the 2019 4Syte Music Video Awards (MVAs) to receive the Most Popular Music Video Award.

After being presented the award, Shatta Wale thanked God for his music journey and went straight ahead to address the controversies surrounding him, the music industry and Stonebowy.

He said: “First of all, I know there are a whole lot of controversies about Shatta Wale and awards and what and what. But if I have Stonebowy here, I just want to present this award to him and tell him I love him so much.

“So anybody representing Stonebowy can come for this award and give it to him. And tell him the beef is over and today I am giving my award to him.”

And indeed a rep from Stonebowy’s camp came to receive the award. An absolute act of class.
