Wizkid Sparks Controversy Between Ghana Girls And Nigerian Girls

Nigerian comedian, Basket Mouth was right- while the rest of the world are fighting each other over lands and oil reserves, Ghana and Nigeria always seem to lock horns over very trivial matters- such as the recent jollof war!

Anyway, joke aside Ghana and her cousin country Nigeria are somehow always in unspoken competition of a sort.

Social media and internet users have had countless Ghana vs Nigeria battles over which country has the best football team, the best musicians and songs, the best movies- you name it.

And now the latest to add to the tall list of petty controversies between Nigerians and Ghanaians is which country has the most non-troublesome girls.

This whole brouhaha was spark by celebrated Nigerian musician, Wizkid, who made an innocuous tweet that “Ghana girls no get Wahala.”

Perhaps, Wizkid, having being to Ghana over the festive season met some Ghanaian girls and thought that Ghana girls ‘no get wahala’.

But of course, twitter users, especially Nigerians wouldn’t let the starboy’s tweet go without any controversy.

While some commentators found the tweet humorous, others couldn’t help but let their opinions be heard. One commentator said: “Fight will soon start.”

After the tweet was shared by Ghanain Dj, DJ Kess, who agreed to the assertion, Wizkid deleted the tweet.
