Now This is Love; Comedian Njugush Shares How His Wife Paid His Bills When he was Broke in Campus
There’s a popular saying (from the bible) that says he who finds a wife finds a good thing. The saying applies for one who finds a loyal and loving girlfriend.
Popular Kenyan comedian Njugush found both a good girlfriend and wife in Celestine who had his back in the good times and bad.
Speaking to NTV, Njugush shared that before his fame and wealth he really struggled. In those days when he was broke in campus, Celestine who was his girlfriend helped out.
The father of one revealed that in campus, his upkeep money would never sustain him till the end of the month. Celestine who at the time had a job therefore paid his bills.
“She used to be enterprising and would sell clothes to our schoolmates. Whenever she made some money, she shared it with me.
I remember she once got angry when she learnt that I had no food,” said Njugush.
He also shared that after he started landing gigs, he wanted it to be his turn to spoil Celestine and thank her for her support.
“She used to be in charge of my ATM. I never hide my money from her and I believe in being honest with her at all times,” he said.
