Nigerians Reacts To Teni’s Comment On Feminism And Relationship

Teni the entertainer, is one famous Nigerian singer, entertainer and music producer.

The ‘Billionaire’ crooner who compares herself to the likes of Dangote is here and this time as a feminist eventough her mode of fashion depicts otherwise.

Teni voiced on relationships and proposals as her recent tweet caused a mixed reactions from Nigerians.

Teni, appears to have gotten into the bad books of Nigerian feminists, following her recent post on Twitter. In a single tweet, Teni tackled feminism by saying women want to be feminist until it is time to propose to a man.

She tweeted:

“Y’all are feminists till it’s time to bend on one knee to ask a man to marry you! Aren’t we equal? Btw it’s not wrong for a woman to propose to her man!” 

Teni’s tweet which went viral with over 11,000 likes and comments, appears to have annoyed many women on social media.

Some however advised her to educate herself more on what feminism really is, as they believe it actually is more than a woman proposing to a man.
