The Ghana Movie Industry Is At The Edge Of Collapse – Joselyn Dumas Reveals

Ghanaian popular Actress Joselyn Dumas has poured out her displeasure on micro blogging platform, twitter as to how Ghanaians has failed the movie industry following its collapse.

The celebrated actress and television show host complained bitterly about how Ghanaians have failed to support the Ghana movie industry resulting to its fall.

Per her context, Ghanaians are found on not supporting their own as they have great taste for foreign trends and looks down on locally made stuff. She stressed on the fact that this ‘ill’ culture has transferred to the movie industry resulting in the taste for foreign opera or telenovelas.

The seasoned actress and entrepreneur tweet reads:

“It’s sad how Ghanaians troop to cinemas to watch foreign movies. Meanwhile Nigerians would troop to watch their own movies whether nice or not, its the deep innate need to support their own. I laugh when you guys say we’re not producing enough movies. If we did, would you watch ?”
