Ghana Celebrates Its 63rd Independence Day Celebration Today In Kumasi
Today, March 6, 2020 marks the 63 years celebration after Ghana, a country from West Africa gained its independence from the British Crown.

On March 5, 1957, Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah stood before a crowd of British subjects at the Old Polo grounds, Accra as he was accompanied by the like of Kojo Botsio, Komla Agbeli Gbedemah, Archie Casely Hayford and Krobo Edusei to declare independence from the British.
Ghana has since made significant improvement on social, political educational, economic and socio-economic developments over the years and its citizens enjoy peaceful living.
