LeBron James Sued For Posting His Picture On Social Media

A photographer identified as Steven Mitchell is suing LA Lakers Superstar LeBron James for posting a picture of Himself on Facebook.

LeBron James and his companies Uninterrupted Digital Ventures and LRMR Ventures is being sued for not seeking proper permission from the photographer before posting his picture.

According to a court document intercepted, photographer Stephen Mitchell is seeking $150,000 in damages for copyright infringement.

“This action arises out of Defendant’s unauthorized reproduction and public display of a copyrighted photograph of NBA basketball player Lebron James during a basketball game against the Miami Heat, owned and registered by Mitchell, a professional photographer.”

“Defendant did not license the photograph from Plaintiff fro its Website, nor did Defendants have Plaintiff’s permission or consent to publish the photograph on its Website” a portion of the document read.
