Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Gifts The People In Lockdown Areas Free Foods And Drinks

Following the numerous call for the president of the republic to give free foods and drinks to people in the lockdown areas within and outside his kingdom.

His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene, has taken it upon himself to distribute food items, drinks, and other relief items to deprived communities in his kingdom.

Per the president’s lockdown directive, the people in the Kumasi jurisdiction are under lockdown and as part of the measures to support the needy in complying with the President’s directive to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, His Royal Majesty found the need to do so.

Relief items to be distributed include:
Rice, oil, canned tomatoes, mackerel, sardines, sardines, salt, sachet and bottled water, hand sanitizers, medicated soaps, vegetables, and fruits.

His Majesty will again present Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) to the Frontline Health Workers in the various health facilities in the Greater Kumasi.
