The race to contain the spread of the coronavirus in Nigeria suffered a major setback as four medical doctors and a nurse tested positive for the deadly virus.
The incident happened in the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, Kwara State. An official who wants to remain anonymous confirmed the unfortunate situation and said the patients have been kept in isolation.
Nigeria, Africa’s most populous country has seen its recorded cases increasing steadily over the weeks with an almost five hundred cases and seventeen deaths which include the chief of staff to President Buhari.
