President Akufo Addo Extends Border Closures By A Month
The President of the republic, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo has extended the closure of the country’s border by a month.

According to the president, the extension which takes effect from May 4 is to enable the country to contain the coronavirus pandemic which is wreaking havoc across the world.
The president made this news when he was addressing workers at a virtual May Day celebration on the national broadcaster GBC.
The president said the extension is in order is to ensure that there is no risk of importation of coronavirus cases into the country.
