Female Radio Presenter Kidnapped, Her Captors Demand ₦20m Ransom
A popular female radio presenter has been kidnapped by some unknown group of men. Chinenye Iwuoha works with Pacesetter FM, a subsidiary of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), in Umuahia, Abia State capital.

The incident occurred near Amakanma Housing Estate in Umuahia South Local Government Area of the state at about 7:00p.m. on her way home after work. She was in the company of her general manager and company driver.
The armed assailants who were on a motorbike and Toyota Sienna space bus had trailed the Hilux van and shot the driver, Kingsley Onyeokuche, before fleeing with their captive, perhaps to stop him from giving a hot chase after them.
They kidnappers also made away with other valuables like laptops and phones together with other personal items. They have since demanded a ₦ 20m ransom before her release.
