Ex-convict Brutally Rapes Woman After Threatening Her With A Toy Gun

The Anambra police has arrested a 28-year old man for brutally raping a woman. The suspect, Emeka Okeke was said to have trailed the victim to a secluded place around the Nnamdi Azikiwe University.

The suspect then threatened the 36-year old woman with a gun later discovered to be a toy. He pushed his victim into the bush and forcibly had his with her while covering her mouth with his hand.

While leading the victim out of the scene, he found an uncompleted building at the university campus. Once again, he dragged the vitim there and raped her the second time before leaving her.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Mohammed Haruna, confirmed the unfortunate news to the press as the police paraded the suspect. He said the suspect was arrested by a combined effort of the police and the vigilante group in the community.

He added that Emeka Okeke was recently released from prison after serving some jail time for manslaughter.The police has therefore called on all victims of the suspect to come forward and help in the prosecution of the rapist.
