Bishop Obinim To Meet Kennedy Agyapong To Settle Fight

Lawyers for embattled founder and general overseer of the International God’s Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim are set to meet with Assin Central MP, Kennedy Agyapong.

This is to help them arrive at a middle ground to find an amicable solution to the rift between the two which has caused national attention.

The administrator of the church, Rev. Kwadwo Adu Boahen made this known during an interview with Kasapa 102.5 FM.

Speaking on the station’s Anopa Kasapa on Kasapa 102.5 FM, Rev. Adu Boahen intimated that well-wishers of Bishop Obinim have implored on them to come to a truce.

Kennedy Agyapong has embarked on a vigorous campaign to expose people he calls fake pastors who have been fleecing their unsuspecting congregants.

He began with the self-styled ‘Angel’ Daniel Obinim. He brought former acquaintances who had worked with the popular pastor to make damning allegations.

Honourable Kennedy Agyapong later reported Bishop Obinim who was subsequently arrested for engaging in fraud.

The member of Parliament has sworn to forward his investigative findings which implicates the pastor in money laundering to the Economic And Organised Crime Organisation, EOCO.
