Nelson Mandela’s Youngest Daughter Dies At Age 59
Zindziswa Mandela, the youngest daughter of South Africa’s anti-apartheid legends Nelson Mandela and Winnie Madikizela-Mandela, has passed away after a brief illness at a hospital on Monday in Johannesburg, South Africa’s largest city.
The versatile lawyer and politician who was known popularly as Zindzi was aged 59. She had served as South Africa’s ambassador to the Kingdom of Denmark from June 2015 till her demise.

Zindziswa Mandela gained international attention in 1985, when at 24 she read her father Nelson Mandela’s refusal letter to the apartheid government’s conditional release after he had spent more than two decades in prison.
She is survived by her second husband, Molapo Motlhajwa and her four children, Zoleka, Zondwa, Bambatha and Zwelabo
