Queen Elizabeth’s Bodyguard Arrested With Bags Of Cocaine

A member of the British monarch, Queen Elizabeth’s security detail has been arrested after he was found in possession of drugs during a search in his room.

The arrest came after a white substance was discovered in a bathroom at St James’s Palace. The bodyguard was then picked up to help in investigations.

The suspect was said to have nine bags of cocaine and ketamine among his possessions after police searched his room and vehicle at Wellington Barracks by Buckingham Palace. 

The Coldstream Guardsman who was arrested by personnel of the Royal Military Police has since been removed from ceremonial duties pending the outcome of the investigation.

Officers launched an investigation after white powder was found in the guardroom toilets where the soldier had been on duty. 

An army spokesperson confirmed that a soldier from the Coldstream Guards has been arrested for a suspected drug offence by the Royal Military Police.
