Nigerian musician, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has explained why he had to go and meet the IGP alone without the company of his celebrity colleagues.
The musician, earlier today met with the police hierarchy to discuss the way forward with regards to the #EndSARS protests in the country.

He earlier announced that, he would be going there with his celebrity colleagues but it turned out he was the only one who represented in the meeting.
This caught the attention of a fan who took to twitter to commend Davido and added that, he should have at least, gone with Falz due to his law background.

Davido explained that, he invited Falz but he declined, saying he and the other celebrities will rather stay in Lagos to coordinate the thousands of protesters there.
Davido’s reply to the tweet reads: “I Invited @falzthebahdguy , @mrmacaronii and @savvy_riinu to join me to Abj from Lagos. They said they’d rather stay in Lagos and continue to coordinate the protests so it’s not like feet have been taken off the brakes and we have all left base. I had to respect that”
