The late Emmanue;l Apraku who was popularly known as Apraku My Daughter was some times past one of the very popular man of God was found dead in his room a day after a video went viral on him.

The family of late pastor Emmanuel Kwaku Apraku(Apraku My Daughter) has accused the woman who filmed the late man of God drunk of being responsible for his death.

A manhunt has been launched and all efforts are channeled into finding her and charging her with murder, according to Vivian Sam, sister of Apraku.

She told a local television station that the woman had no rights in filming the man of God and she(Vivian) is convinced the video contributed to the death of her brother.

“We think it’s because of what the woman did, that’s why he went to sleep and never woke up. We believe that’s what triggered his death because, the attire he was in when the video was taken was the same attire he died in, so we blame her for Apraku’s death,” she said.

Vivian also added that it was morally wrong to film someone in a bad state and ridicule him in addition.

“Why must you take a video of someone and share it on social media knowing very well the person is in a bad state. “

When asked what the family will do when they find the lad, she said they will ensure the said woman pays dearly according to the laws of the country.

“The family has met and we have decided to take legal action against her, we are going to ensure that she pays dearly according to the laws of the country because even in the video, my brother told her stop filming but she didn’t listen and kept filming him”.

Ex-wife of Ghanaian Evangelist Emmanuel Kwaku Apraku known as Apraku My Daughter has spoken for the first time after his death.

The sudden demise of the once famous preacher came as a heavy blow to her just as it did to many Ghanaians.

According to her, she warned Apraku of doom but the man of God did not pay attention to her words.

She added that it was for this same reason she divorced him in 2003 hoping the man of God will turn a new leaf but that didn’t happen.

The sad woman revealed that upon seeing the viral video of her ex husband drunk, she sent her children to go check up on him only to meet his corpse.

I am very sad. I have gone inside the room and I saw him lying there. If he had listened to my advice he would have been alive by now.

It wouldn’t have ended this way. I spoke to him many times but he didn’t listen and I couldn’t force him so I had to break up and move on with my life, she said in an interview.

News of the sudden demise of evangelist Apraku My Daughter has sadden UK-based Ghanaian gospel artist, Dr Sonnie Badu, and he has reacted.

Sonnie Badu expressed his shock upon hearing the news and revealed he had been crying although he does not know the man of God personally.

“We have just been informed that the pastor passed on to be with the Lord this morning. It looks like it was my urge to helping him video that alerted people to go check on him and when they did he had passed on. No one had heard from him for 3 days.

“Sir, may you Rest In Peace. I heard you were a giver and loved people. Tears are in my eyes while watching KOFITV now … On this note, I want us to pray for pastors and ministers who have sacrificed everything for the gospel and their families. Some are going through intense depression others have attempted suicide, yet they have to stand and pray, minister, take care of souls … please don’t forget to say a little prayer. #DrBadu.”

Ghanaians are still in the mood of grief as they mourn a former popular evangelist, Emmanuel Kwaku Apraku who was popularly known as ‘Apraku My Daughter’.

Just after the good news came in that, the popular cleric who was caught on camera intoxicated has been rescued from his woes as gospel music sensation, Sonnie Badu promises to help him rise from his worries.

In an interview on Okay FM, a daughter of the late Evangelist said she met the lifeless body of her father this afternoon, May 20 after she decided to pay her a visit.

According to the daughter, she is of the belief that her father might have committed suicide barely after the video of his dad went viral.
