Pastor Brian Amoateng has apologized after getting on the nerves of Ghanaians for making a provocative statement that churches are not obliged to share hand sanitizers to help fight COVID-19.

In a Facebook live video sighted by AfricaCelebrities.Com, Pastor Amoateng said it is not mandatory for the church to help fight COVID-19 but it is mandatory for people to keep tithes and offertories coming.

In a new video, the founder of iYes has denied ever saying all what was heard in the previous video.

He claimed he was misunderstood and the said video under review was an hour long teaching about offering.

The Pastor put on record that he is not against churches giving out sanitizers to its members and even extending to the community at large.

My attention has been drawn to a section of a live video I did dabbed “questions and answers” on Facebook and a comment I made about Churches giving out sanitizers. I wish to put on record that i am not against churches giving out sanitizers to its members and even extending to the community at large. Indeed the church exist to support the community. My discussion and comments was in relation to a question asked by one of our live audience about the church having the sole responsibility of providing hand sanitizers to it members since members give offerings all the time. My explanation was on the basis that the church cannot be seen to be the only or sole institution to do that and that members also had a role to play as well as the government . It was in this light that I made my comment . I have personally given about 100 hand sanitizers to some youth , church members and the other needy persons. I however apologize if this point did not come clearly in my interactions on the live feed on Facebook. Keep safe under the shadow of the almighty . PASTOR BRIAN AMOATENG iYES.

Ghanaians Roast Pastor Brian Amoateng For Saying Churches Are Not Obliged To Share Sanitizers And Food

An enraged section of the public have descended on Pastor Brian Amoateng over a comment he made on the church’s position in eradicating COVID-19.

Ban on public gathering is one of few measures authorities put in place to help curb the spread of the deadly virus. The directives affected everything including church services.

Some pastors however, made available electronic means for their congregations to keep their tithes and offertories coming although services was cancelled.

Many people began to question the role of the church in the fight against COVID-19. Others quizzed if all the church thought off is how to keep the tithes and offertories coming.

On this bases that,the man of God in a live Facebook video stated the main position the church plays in this dire moments.

According to Brian Amoateng , the church is not obliged to give out Hand Sanitizers and any form of aid during this period but the people are under obligation to pay their tithes to receive blessings from the Lord.

He echoed that monies paid in the church is never used by pastors but it goes directly to the maker f heaven and earth.

His comment did not sit well with many as they haul all sort of unprintable words on him for sharing his opinion.

Founder of Brian Jones Outreach Ministries, Pastor Brian Amoateng, has broken his silence on the Ghana Jesus trend.

Mmebusem, ‘The Black Jesus’ is a comic actor who portrays himself as Jesus Christ whom Christians believe is the Son of God.

His act has not received the most welcome, especially among the Christian section in the country.

Pastor Brian Amoateng is the latest to speak against the Ghana Jesus. He said in a social media post that God cannot be mocked in the guise of comedy.

“Enough of this nonsense. I don’t support this….Christian Youth of Ghana, our God cannot be mocked in the name of comedy”, his captioned read.

While many have criticized Mmebusem’s comic acts portraying as Jesus, his response to those critics is that this is his way of sharing the gospel- through comedy.

Adding that if God is against it, his act won’t last. But if God supports it, it will stand.
