Reactions from fans show that many actually take the arrest as a joke. One of the users who commented on his arrest wrote “Looks staged but okay. Get arrested in peace Beat King.”

According to the producer, he was detained over copyright claims. This arrest feels like karma seeing that just a few days ago, Magix took down Uno video from YouTube by artist Harmonize after claiming the song violated copyright claims.

Uganda’s Big Tril released a hit song not so long ago dubbed Parte After Parte. Soon after it’s release, a bunch of Kenyan artists released a remix to the song. Now, the remix has been taken down after the video was issued a copyright strike.

Original Parte after Party song by Big Tril

According to Big Tril’s management team, the artist had not yet given the right to anyone to reproduce the work. However, Boondocks Gang, Zzero, Rekless and Magix Enga decided to reproduce it anyway; Hence the issuing of copyright strikes.

Copyright infringement is defined as the use of works protected by copyright law without permission for a usage where such permission is required. Therefore despite complaints about the remix being taken down, Big Tril is right to do so.

Small You tubers are angry at Milly Wa Jesus and Kabi Wa Jesus after getting copyright strikes over the Wa Jesus Birth video.

According to these you tubers, Kabi and Milly requested fans to share their videos widely when their channel was still young. However, now that they have several thousand subscribers, they have copyrighted their content causing the strikes.

Milly and Kabi Wa Jesus

Angry You tubers took to social media to share their disappointment in the couple. Wa Jesus family has over half a million followers on their social media. Many of them are budding content creators who shared Wa Jesus content and have now been burnt.

Despite the negative reactions, Kabi and Milly are yet to explain why they did what they did. I don’t blame them though. They just welcomed their first child together and are probably too busy as first time parents.
