Ghanaians are mourning following the tragic death of Ghanaian artiste Emmanuel Apraku popularly known as Ray Styles.

Ray Styles fell sick with a liver issue and needed about £40,000 to undergo surgery. Videos and photos of the once healthy artist went viral with him soliciting for help to pay his hospital bills.

Ray Styles was reported dead earlier this morning October 1st out of complications to his liver, despite raising $70,000 for his surgery.

He is well known for drawing celebrities and was recognized by Hollywood superstar Will Smith for drawing a caricature poster for his is movie Bad Boys 2.

Ray Styles’ Instagram page (Penciled Celebrities), and social media in general, have reacted with shock to the news.

Celebrated Hollywood actor, Sylvester Stallone has lost his mother and famous Big Brother star, Jackie Stallone, at the age of 98.

The announcement was made by Frank Stallone, young brother of Sylvester on Monday, revealing that the mother died earlier that morning.

He revealed that the 98-year-old woman died in her sleep as she always wished for. “This morning my brothers and I lost our mother Jackie Stallone. She was the mother to four children, Tommy, Sylvester, Frankie, and my late sister Toni Ann.

“She was a remarkable woman working out every day full of spunk and fearless. She died in her sleep as she had wished. It was hard not to like her, she was very eccentric and flamboyant person. She was born on November 29th 1921 in Washington DC, she lived through prohibition, the depression, and World War II.” part of Frank’s post read.

Jackie Stallone was famed in the 90’s for publishing a series of astrology books and had a short stint in the Celebrity Big Brother house in the UK in 2005. She was married three times and and three sons and a daughter.

Billionaire and founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates has disclosed in an official statement that his father, William Gates Sr has died at the age of 94.

Bill Gates praised his father and said on social media how he’ll miss him. The CEO of Microsoft revealed how fortunate his family is to have William Gates as a father.

William Gates Sr died peacefully at home surrounded by his family.

Bill Gates revealed that his dad supported and inspired him to leave Havard University to co-found a company with Paul Allen in 1975.

“We will miss him more than we can express right now. We are feeling grief but also gratitude.”

Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, a former governor of Sokoto state Nigeria has announced the passing of his 23-year-old daughter Sadiya Magatakarda Wamakko.

According to reports, she died on Thursday, September 10th at the Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital in Sokoto after suffering child birth complications.

Sadiya Magatakarda Wamakko‘s funeral prayer was conducted Thursday night at the residence of Senator Wamakko with few family, friends and sympathizers present.

Other dignitaries who attended the funeral were Magajin Garin Sokoto and Magajin Rafin Sokoto, Alhaji Hassan Danbaba and Alhaji Rilwanu Bello.

Wife and medical practitioner, identified as Abimbola Bamgbose, is reported to have died after she traveled to Turkey for plastic surgery.

Bamgbose’s family and friends mourned her death on Facebook but in the comment section, some claimed that the medical practitioner went for the plastic surgery without the knowledge of her family.

Some also alleged that she lied to her husband that she was traveling to Turkey for shopping while other claim she went for the surgery so she can look good for her 40th birthday.

A certain Onyinyechi Vanessa Osunmo however said the deceased was only 38 and wasn’t preparing for her 40th birthday. She added that she went for the surgery with her husband’s consent and did so “because the size of her tummy was giving her serious health concerns.”

The husband also cleared the air and warned social media users dragging his wife’s name in the mud and spreading lies although he did not mention which of the claims were lies but he stated that news about his wife has no “iota of truth”.
