In the video, these miscreants destroyed casket of Arafat, sprinkled grains of sand on him and went the extent of claiming the corps isn’t that of Arafat.

It is not known what really motivated this despicable acts but scores believe that Yorobo is not dead as they were made to believe.

DJ Arafat died on 12th August, 2019 as a result of devastating accident he suffered when his motorbike crashed into the bumper of a vehicle.

His death had a major impact on both Francophone and Anglophone music fronts as he had worked with the likes of J Martins, Davido, Iyanya, Fally Ipupa, Serge Bernaud and the likes.

Due to his legendary status on the music industry in his country, the government announced a state burial for him and also bore the costs of the final funeral rites.

DJ Arafat, bien Ange Houn, shot to the limelight when he dropped an exhilarating yet sad tribute to Jonathan, a budding Ivorian musician who had died via an accident.

Many African music stars are expected to throng Ivory Coast to perform at a farewell to the celebrated singer DJ Arafat. The musician met his untimely death in a motor accident on Sunday 11th August 2019.

DJ Arafat performed with many African musicians. His farewell concert is expected to see performances from Fally Ipupa, Maître Gims, Davido, Sidiki Diabaté, Koffi Olomide among others.

The event will be attended by President Alassane Ouattara and other political leaders with the government already contributing $250,000. The venue is the 35.000-seat Félix Houphouët-Boigny stadium.

    According to an Ivorian Pastor named Koffi Duchrist, he has been appointed by God Almighty himself to resurrect the deceased Ivorian singer, DJ Arafat, who met his demise in a tragic road accident a few weeks ago.

   “God told me to do this live and wait for a period of 5 days, that is to say by Friday at the latest, that I get in touch with the family of Dj Arafat.

If the family of Dj Arafat calls me at once I will leave and whatever the number of formol they put in the body of Arafat, the Lord Jesus will resurrect it.

I get the impression that there are people who do not like Arafat revive, I have the impression that there are wizards in this business, so stay calm, I’ll tell you because when God has opened a door nobody can shut it up Arafat will get up and take the microphone to sing”, he said emphatically.

However, there is a catch, and it is this he has to be given explicit permission from the late DJ’s biological family or else he wouldn’t be able to bring back Ivory Coast’s beloved celebrity from the land of the dead.

The vigil in tribute to Dj Arafat has been scheduled for August 30 2019 at Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium and his burial the following day at the Williamsville Cemetery.

Dj Arafat met his untimely death in a motor accident on Sunday 11th August 2019. A cctv footage revealed the whole incident as he crashed against the boot of another vehicle and immediately somersaulted, falling in front of the vehicle.

His death shocked the entire continent as tributes poured in from all over including Davido, Didier Drogba, Toofan and host of other celebrated personalities.

DJ Arafat was best noted for his tremendous impact on Coupé Décalé, a genre of music widely enjoyed by many Ivorians and francophones.

Yorobo, as he is affectionately called, was ranked as the 3rd most influential musician by Universal Music Africa after Tiwa Savage and Wizkid.

The President of the Republic of Ivory Coast will take charge of final funeral rites of DJ Arafat.

This was announced by the Minister of Culture in Ivory Coast that the President of the Republic of Ivory Coast will take charge of the final funeral rites of the celebrated late singer, DJ Arafat.
