Firefighters and emergency crew are reportedly at the Beirut Port battling the fire just about a month after a huge explosion in the country.

It is unclear what caused the fore but the blaze is said to have happened at a warehouse containing oil and tyres on Thursday afternoon, September.

The warehouse is close to the location where the the blast occurred last month injuring over 6,000 people and killing over 200 more.

The Washington Post’s correspondent in Beirut, Liz Sly, tweeted footage of Thursday afternoon’s blaze, writing: “Another big fire at Beirut port. Everyone’s freaking out.”

Sad news we are gathering shows that the home of famous Ghanaian actor, Koo Fori, has been razed down into ashes by fire.

A video of what used to be a beautiful home of the actor was released on social media with nothing spared by the fire. Koo Fori’s properties were destroyed beyond recognition.

It is unclear what caused the fire or when it began but commentary around the video says the fire might have began late September 6,2020 or early hours of September 7,2020.

A video sighted showed carpenters trying to save what is left of the house. Properties like TV sets, furniture, fridges and other properties worth millions were also destroyed.

The actor is yet to react to the news and confirm if he was injured in a way but we hope he is doing well.

Fire has gutted a one storey building at 10 Moliki Street in Mushin Local Government Area of Lagos State on Saturday morning, August 29.

Multiple reports confirmed that, the fire started during the early hours of Saturday morning and razed down the entire first floor of the building.

Residents around the vicinity tried frantically to douse the fire but the flame proved too much for their strength.

Men of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency LASEMA, were later brought in to save the situation.

The situation, according to our sources is under control now. It’s still unclear what caused the fire outbreak.

Reports reaching us says a diesel tanker offloading diesel at the Access Bank premises in Victoria Island, Lagos, caught fire and exploded Causing fire in the vicinity.

No life was lost but the tanker and a car close by were destroyed. Sources say the swift intervention of firefighter prevented the fire from destroying the Access Bank building.

Speaking on the incident, the General Manager, LASEMA, Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, said, “On arrival at the incident scene, it was observed that a fully loaded 33,000 litres diesel tanker with number plate AKD 637 XP and a car stationed beside it with number plate AKD 234 FA were completely ravaged by the fire.
