Nigerian hip hop rapper, MI Abaga has asked all concerned youth who want to see a better Nigeria to get their PVCs ready to vote out politicians who are not championing their course.

The rapper said this in reaction to the outburst of some of the politicians against the citizens especially the youth.

Nollywood actor and politician, Desmond Elliot was particularly singled out and dragged on Twitter for his utterances and name calling of the youth.

MI is suggesting that, for the youth to be taken seriously, they need to get their PVCs ready and participate during elections in order to vote out wicked politicians.

“Let me tell what the law makers have said to us today.. they know we won’t vote.. and that the people that vote aren’t on social media.. they can speak about us like that because they don’t think it will affect their office.. You getting your PVC?”, he tweeted.

On popular micro blogging platform, twitter, MI Abaga opened up on how he had wanted to help someone but later had to stop due to the nature of Nigerians.

According to the renowned rapper, he was left with no option than to stop the help for the person he referred to as someone who he doesn’t really deal with because he remembered people will mess you up in trying to help someone.

MI Abaga has severed his 13 years ties with the Chocolate City Records to announce a self-owned label called Incredible Music.

The Nigerian hip hop artist has been under Chocolate City since 2007 and in his time in label, served as CEO for the record label in 2015. He released five albums, three mixtapes and a playlist under the label.

MI Abaga had a great relationship with Chocolate City and he projected the label to higher heights during his turner as CEO.

The rapper today took to his Official social media pages sharing videos to announce his exit from his long love and an ushering of a new label, Incredible Music.

MI also hinted that his tenth project, Judah The EP, will be released under his new label.

On Twitter, one follower of his had made a reservation that after his tweet concerning Akon’s ‘lil brother’ tweet to Wizkid, and other issues about South African rapper AKA, Nigerian celebs came for him and didn’t defend him.

Retweeting, MI acknowledged the follower, stating that it is becoming clearer by the day that he isn’t liked by his colleagues.

‘Who is your bro?’ Rapper MI has disagreed with American-Sengalese singer Akon referring to Wizkid as his ‘lil bro’. According to MI, Akon should desist from calling Wizkid ‘lil bro’ because Wizkid is anything but little.

Reacting to this, fans have pulled out Wizkid’s tweet to Akon some years ago when he was still climbing the ladder of international acclaim. In the tweets, Wizkid himself referred to Akon as his ‘big bro’ which means it doesn’t irk him that Akon calls him a ‘lil bro’.

Not willing to back down, MI Abaga still insists Wizkid is still too high to be referred to as ‘lil bro’.

He tweeted again, “I have an opinion: few African artists in diaspora actually did anything to REALLY help the movement.. as a fan of Wizkid (which I am) I don’t see Wiz as lil bro to Akon.. he has overcome larger obstacles to accomplish way more (in my eyes).. In my opinion Wiz is lil bro to none.”
