But ironically, those who are overly religious in Nigeria becomes less prayerful when they travel abroad.

A Twitter user posed this question on his timeline and it has attracted a lot of reactions.

“Why do Nigerians become less religious when they travel overseas?’, he tweeted.

A Twitter user identified as Dickson then replied that it is because the system provides 70 percent of their prayer points.

His tweet reads: “The system provides 70% of your prayer point.”

A Zambian man has began divorce proceedings against his wife of many years with the reason that he cannot contain the incessant prayers his wife churn out every early morning.

Anderson Mwenya initiated the divorce in court after what he claims to be too many lengthy prayers from his wife, Priscah Chali.

The case was heard by a magistrate in the Buchi Local Court where Anderson where the complainant argued that his wife wakes up at 4:00 am to pray for several hours which he finds uncomfortable.

He revealed that her new behaviour started after she abandoned their church and join a pentecostal one where there is a meeting almost everyday.

In her defence, the woman rubbished her husband’s claims. She averred that Anderson Mwenya wants to divorce her to pave way for him to marry his girlfriend with whom he is cheating on her.

Founder and leader of Omega Fire Ministry, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has petitioned the federal government to allow men of God to deliver Coronavirus patients through prayers.

He said the government of Nigeria should permit pastors with the gift of divine healing to storm isolation centers and heal patients battling the deadly virus.

“There are people with the gift of healing, God has gifted them to pray for the sick. It is not fake, gimmick or arranged. It is there in them. Permit us so that we can prove there are prophets in Nigeria.” He said in a viral video.
