Serbia and Real Madrid footballer, Luka Jovic has tested positive for Covid-19.

The announcement was made by Real Madrid today, Friday, November 20. Luka Jovic becomes the fifth player of Real Madrid to test positive for the virus.

A statement from the Spanish champions read: “Real Madrid informs that our player Luka Jovic has given a positive result in the Covid-19 tests carried out on Friday morning.”

The player some few months ago flew from Spain to Serbia to celebrate the Birthday of his girlfriend.

The Serbian authority nearly sentenced him to six months imprisonment for breaching the Covid-19 protocols.

Casillas, who spent most of his active years with Real Madrid announced his retirement in a heartbreaking letter appreciating his teammates.
