Dead Electrician Fixed to A Pole
Ghanaians are great masters when it comes to funerals. A deceased young man has received a fascinating pre-burial ceremony that has left mouths open in total consternation.
Instead of lying in a coffin, the deceased was attached to a pole to exhibit his occupation. Information about his life is sketchy. However, his burial apparel points to the stark truth that he was an electrician.
The funeral was held in Mefe in the Tongu District of Volta Region. With the exception of his black suit which had replaced his working overall attire, every tool an electrician uses, was on him.
His helmet was affixed to his head. His feet were also in his boots with a pair of pliers hanging out of his pocket. May his soul rest in peace!!!
