Is Murang’a County Woman Rep Sabina Chege A Video Vixen? De’Mathew’s Death Exposes Truth
As the country mourns the loss of the late legendary Kikuyu benga musician John De’Mathew, Murang’a county woman rep Sabina Chege has found herself close to the center of attention due to her spotted appearance in one of the late musician’s hit songs.
The death of the late popular Kikuyu musician came as a shock to many Kenyans who grew up listening to his music. De’Mathew perished along Thika superhighway on the night of Sunday 18th August after ramming into a truck with his car. Kenyans took to social media sites to share messages of condolence as well as his songs in remembrance and that was when people noticed the familiarity between one video vixen in De’Mathew’s song and the current Murang’a women representative, Sabina Chege.
Reactions to seeing that Sabina was actually a video vixen turn politician have been mostly supportive, however there are internet trolls who took to twitter to shame the politician and compare her to the likes of other video vixens such as Vera Sidika and Kamene Goro. Those who took it personally to defend the woman rep’s name explained that at the time the video was released, Sabina was working as a radio presenter for popular radio station Kameme FM. At that time, having a TV or radio presenter feature in a video was good publicity.
Seeing that election season is coming and every politician wants a position in the 2022 government, no publicity is bad publicity for any politician therefore Sabina Chege has the late De’Mathew to thank. May the legend rest in peace.
