Report Yourself To My Office Next Week- Special Prosecutor Tells PPA Boss

The Office of the Special Prosecutor has arranged a meeting with the suspended Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Public Procurement Authority (PPA).

According JoyNews, the meeting is set for August 29, 2019.

Mr. AB Adjei was suspended earlier in a press release issued by the Director of Communications at the Presidency following an expose by investigative journalist Manasseh Azuri.

The said meeting comes after the President referred the PPA boss to the Special Prosecutor’s office to be investigated for potential acts of corruption.

The President also referred him to the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ), for conflict of interest allegations after he formed a company that sold government contracts to the highest bidder.

Mr. AB Adjei’s meeting with the Special Prosecutor, Martin Amidu, has been set at 10 O’clock Thursday morning.
