If You Think Wearing A Burqa Your Entire Life Is Normal, Go See A Doctor- Imam Mohamad Tawhidi

A renowned Muslim, human right advocate and author known as Imam Mohammad Tawhidi has caused mayhem amongst muslims on Twitter for his tweet about the Burqa or Paranja.

He tweeted that if a Muslim woman thinks that wearing a Burqa all her life is normal, she should go see a doctor, or if a man thinks his wife should wear one her entire life, he too can go visit Satan in his hometown.

This tweet of his has generated a wide amount of backlash and criticism, with some even claiming that he is not a real Muslim.

The Burqa is an enveloping outer dress worn by women in some Islamic traditions to cover themselves from the public eye, and is currently banned in 14 countries including Austria, Denmark, France, Cameroon, Gabon, amongst others.
