Ghanaian music sensation Emmanuel Andrews Sammini aka Samini is a proud son of the North.

Last year he was enstooled by the Paramount Chief of Wa as Pibilii Naa, meaning “King Of The Little Rocks”. This year’s Damba festival has attracted a lot of attention, with some celebrities storming the Northern region where it is held to celebrate the occasion.

Being the honourary king that he is, Samini represented in all his glory. He posted a picture of him in a smock fit for warriors and a thank you message. He wrote;

A big thank you to Our overlord #WaNaa , fellow sub chiefs and traditional rulers and the entire people of the #upperwestregion of Ghana for a successful #dumbafestival this year .. it was indeed an amazing experience for some of us who were born and raised in the south. Thanks to my parents for raising us with our local dialect as that became one of the main tools that came handy to me in interaction and communication. 
For my dirty smock don’t ask me no questions … I am the 
#warriorking #pibiliinaa from #mangu the tribe of warriors who fight to protect our Overlord in times of war.
Chiefs from generations have worn this same smock almost a century before my birth and tradition demands that I rock one of these to the Overlords Palace on occasions like this when our ancestors rise to bless the land and the people.
