Prophet Shepherd Bushiri Luckily Survives Being Assassinated By Gunmen-Photo

The General Overseer of the Enlightened Christened Gathering(ECG) Prophet Shepherd Bushiri has disclosed that he has just survived an assassination attack on his life.

The prophet revealed that he intelligently drove out earlier today in an unfamiliar car as he had hints of the attack a day before. Bushiri added that he has been alerting the authorities of the many attacks and threats on his life but they seem not to be concerned about it.

He, therefore, blamed the authorities for not putting in any measure to protect his life. He shared the news on his official instagram page, giving details of the near assassination attack and added that he would make public video footage of what actually went on in due time.

He wrote, ‘Thank you all for your prayers. I have just survived an attempted assassination where we were held at a gunpoint. More details will follow – and if possible, video footage of how my car was surrounded by hitmen will be released. Praise be to God, I was in a small unfamiliar car as I was alerted yesterday of the upcoming danger. I watched the whole scene including the guns pointing at my driver.

For some time now – as well as yesterday after receiving the alert – I have been alerting the authorities and high officials of the threats I’ve been receiving. However, as it has been for the past three years, their negligence leaves much to be desired.  Pray for us, we are facing a lot of battles in this country but one day, the world will hear our story’.
