VIDEO: Finally! Sarkodie Unwraps His BET Best International Flow Award Plaque

Ghanaian musician, Sarkodie won the BET Best International Flow Award in 2019 having been nominated alongside artistes such as Nasty C and Falz.

His win made him the first ever person to win the slot. The new category was added the awards scheme to highlight artistes from different countries such as Nigeria, UK, France, South Africa, Ghana and Canada.

Sarkodie won the category over six other acts namely, Falz (Nigeria), Ghetts (U.K), Kalash (France), Lil Simz (U.K), Nasty C (South Africa) and Tory Lanez (Canada).

As is the usual practice, Sarkodie did not receive the actual plaque of the award on the night of the award ceremony.

The plaque was expected to be delivered to him on a later date. So having received the real award plaque today, the President of Sark Nation decided to do his fans the honor by unwrapping it for their viewing pleasure.

Sarkodie said, before opening the package that: “Finally it’s here. It’s been sitting here, finally I’m about to see it.

I want you guys to the experience to see finally the Best International Flow Award for Ghana. I won’t even say for Sarkodie- it’s for Ghana. And shout outs to BET.”
