Summary of President Akufo Addo’s 7th Address On Coronavirus In Ghana

The President of Ghana, His Excellency, President Nana Akuffo Addo during his 7th update on the coronavirus pandemic captioned, “Measures taken against the spread of coronavirus” indicated that the lockdown has been lifted effective 1 am on Monday.

This decision according to him is due to the newly developed measures that put the government in the right position to better understand and manage the virus.

He, however, stated that lifting the lockdown does not mean that, we will disregard safety measures. Social gatherings remain restricted to an extent, public transports are equally expected to run with a considerable number of passengers.

  • Lockdown lifted in Accra, Tema, Kasoa, Kumasi from tomorrow.
