VIDEO: South African Police Officer Prays Before Arresting Pastor For Defying Coronavirus Lockdown Rules

As the world grapples with coronavirus (COVID-19) which the World Health Organization (WHO) has declared a global pandemic, scientists are working studiously in their labs to find a vaccine or cure for the disease.

Unfortunately, however, despite the work being done to control the spread of the virus and treat infected people, there have been confirmed deaths related to the virus across the globe.

As a result, many planned social gatherings have been cancelled, flights have halted and the virus in taking a toll on economies.

These are indeed difficult times for the world. And in times like these, people take solace in messages of hope and assurance that humanity will overcome its challenges.

While it appears that scientists have not fully understood how the virus spreads and its symptoms, the WHO has provided the public with what is known about COVID-19 so far in terms of its spread and symptoms that infected person show.

Social distancing and personal hygiene are chief among the measures put in place across the globe to minimize the spread of the virus.

And many countries have also enforced lockdown measures to reduce the movement of people and encourage them to stay home.

But as expected, there are a few people who flout these lockdown directives including social distancing measures and ban on public gatherings.

Which is why security operatives have been put in charge to enforce the lockdown rules and to arrest or punish people who are found guilty of defying the rules.
