Burna Boy’s megahit album, ‘Twice As Tall’ has gained nomination at the most prestigious music awards scheme, the Grammys 2021.

The album was nominated in the Best Global Music Album of the year category.

“Just in: Burnaboy’s Twice as Tall Album Has Been Nominated For “Best Global Music Album of the year” at the 63rd Grammy Awards!!! Big Congrats to the African Giant”, gossipmill wrote on Instagram.

The awards scheme is set to come off on the 31st of January, 2021 and will be hosted by South African comedian and show host, Trevor Noah.

Burna’s video has surpassed 2 million views on video streaming platform YouTube and the singer has reacted on his social media platform.

“2 million views already Thank you!” he expressed on his twitter handle.

Burna Boy has become the first artiste to earn over 1 million views on YouTube, according to music chart platform Turntable Charts. The record was held by Beyonce with 902,000 views but Burna beat her with over 100,000 views.

Turntable Charts tweeted, “@burnaboy is the first artiste to earn over 1 million views on YouTube NG in a week (based on views solely from Nigeria). He surpasses the previous record high of 902,000 views by Beyonce (July 19 – July 25, 2019)”
