News started making round in the early hours of Friday that popular Nigerian Bishop Oyedepo had been denied visa by the United States Embassy in Nigeria.

The report shared by the U.S Mission in Abuja, Nigeria was captioned as ‘Drama as US Embassy Denied Bishop Oyedepo visa’ but the Embassy denied the incident as fake news.

The statement was made on the social media platforms of the US Mission in Nigeria, which was sighted by AfricaCelebrities.com on Twitter.

According to the statement, the report was false and encouraged others to share in order to defeat the misinformation.
