Video: Man Shot 8 Times Playing The Hero in an Armed Robbery in Kasarani

Police have initiated a manhunt for two armed robbers who shot a man 8 times in Kasarani. The robbery with violence happened at a retail shop in Kasarani, Nairobi.

The victim who was shot has been identified as Richard Muema. He is recuperating at Kenyatta National Hospital where he was rushed after the incident.

CCTV footage obtained from the store shows two armed men entering the shop at around 10.30 pm. One of the men was armed with a gun. Neither of them hid their faces, say in a mask.

The armed robbers ordered Muema to get on the ground which he did. However, moments later, Muema decided to attack the gunman in an act of heroism. It didn’t go so well and he ended up getting shot eight times.

The victim underwent surgery to remove the bullets as his family appealed for support to cover the medical bills. Police have urged members of the public to keep a look out for the dangerous suspects.
