Ghanaians Are Saying They Know Exactly What Bullet Meant By ‘Empowering Female Artistes’

It’s fair to say that Ghana people love ‘ns3m keka’. Otherwise, what business is it of ours that Bullet has decided to use his Rufftown Records to empower women.

So last night at the 2019 MTN 4Syte Music Video Awards (MVAs), Wendy Shay, a signee on Rufftown Records label, was awarded Best Female Video for her music video of ‘Uber Driver’.

Because Wendy Shay wasn’t present to receive the award, Bullet- CEO of Rufftown Records and Fantana- another signee of the label, went to the stage to receive the award on her behalf.

After receiving the award, Bullet decided to give a few words to patrons, dignitaries and artistes present at the event.

Portions of his statement were geared towards addressing certain issues pertaining to Rufftown Records especially against the backdrop of Ms. Forson’s accusation of him not wanting to work with her because she was married at the time.

He said Rufftown Records is about women empowerment and that the record label is open to accept up and coming female artistes regardless of their marital status. In fact, this statement received a mixture of resounding applauds and cheers of cynicism.

Apparently fans and commentators are saying they know exactly what Bullet meant by ‘women empowerment’. And this stems from a longstanding rumor that Bullet has been having amorous relationships with the female artistes who sign to his record label.

There were allegations of him sleeping with Ebony of blessed memory and now the same allegations are being leveled against him of doing the same with Wendy Shay.

Although Bullet has had to come out to refute such allegations, it seems patrons would have none of it as they continue to propagate them.
