Court Sentence Popular Nigerian Prophet To Life Imprisonment For Kidnapping 1-Year-Old Boy

Prophet Babatunde Alfa, founder of Sotitobire Praising Chapel, has been sentenced to life imprisonment over the disappearance of a one year old child from his church.

Gold Kolawole, 1, was reported to have disappeared from the church in Akure on November 10 during a Sunday Service. Report have it that Kolawole was dropped off at the Children’s unit of the church but was no where to be found by his mother when service was over.

Prophet Babatunde was arrested and and presented to the Ondo State High Court by Justice Olusegun Odusola on Tuesday.

He was found guilty along with five other accomplice on two counts charge of Kidnapping and aiding and abetting to kidnap based on evidence presented to the court.

Other defendants jailed include Omodara Olayinka, Margaret Oyebola ,Grace Ogunjobi, Egunjobi Motunrayo and Esther Kayode. The Ondo branch of the Sotitobire Praising Chapel has also been burnt down by angry mob.

They Were Killed Because Of ₦4m- Suspects Detail How University Students Were Killed

The leader of the gang of kidnappers who murdered three final year university students has detailed his motive.

Bright Iheachi said he ordered the killings because one of the victims, Nelson Nwafor absconded with his ₦4 million to Ghana after an undisclosed deal between them.

He explained that he organized for Nelson to be abducted. However, on the day of the operation, Nelson was in the company of his two friends, Fortune and Joy.

In order not to leave any trace, they took the two in addition and sent them to their den. The incident happened on the 7th of April this year.

The suspects contacted the victims’ relatives for a ransom to be paid. However they refused to released them after taking the money. Few days later they murdered the students.

Commissioner of Rivers State police, Joseph Gobum Mukan described how the leader was arrested who in turn led them to the other criminals.

Meawhile Bright Obimba, father of one of the victims, Fortune remains inconsolable. He described his only son as a generous hard-working young man.

The Nigerian president has called for a speedy trial of the suspects so that justice can be served. He also sent his condolences to the bereaved family.

Notorious Kidnapper, Satan Gunned Down In River State-Nigeria

The Nigerian operation STING has gunned down a notorious kidnapper, Ekweme Brown Ike, aka Satan.

The news as carried by instablog9ja said the kidnapper was gunned down yesterday at River State, Nigeria. The deceased is alleged to be the leader of the kidnapping gang responsible for most kidnapping activities and also the hijacking of commercial buses on the Ndele axis of the East-West Road in Nigeria.

It said the entire community was thrown into a state of jubilation as the news od the deceased spread.

A Nigerian man, identified as Dr. Braide, has shared a frightening incident which happened to his friend and her daughter at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, Nigeria.

According to him, he believes there is a syndicate of kidnappers working at the airport to abduct unsuspecting victims.

And worse of all, he believes that some security operatives have connived with these kidnappers to aid their operations.

Describing how the kidnapper get their victims, Dr. Braide said they somehow manage to get the names of travelers and pose as drivers sent to transport them. And that is how they are able to kipnap their victims should they fall for this trap.

BE CAREFUL AT THE AIRPORT

“This man approached my friend and her daughter when they arrived Lagos, Nigeria from London, saying he was sent to pick her from her mom.

She questioned him, knowing her husband was on his way to pick them up. He still insisted by unfolding a paper with her name and that of her daughter’s (Of which he got the spelling of her daughter’s name totally wrong).

The man kept trying to persuade them saying a car was waiting for them outside. It wasn’t until my friend “changed it” for him that he backed off.

She tried to tell the security officials at the airport and even showed them the picture she took of him and they told her, “they will tell him not to do it again”. Shoving the complaint aside like nothing happened. The airport officials are in on it. This is serious!

There may be a syndicate of kidnappers working at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport. I can only imagine how many people have fallen victim.

PLEASE INFORM RELATIVES AND FRIENDS COMING INTO THE COUNTRY. THEY SHOULD NOT ENTER ANY VEHICLE WITHOUT FIRST CONFIRMING THE SOURCE OF THE RIDE AND THE DRIVER’S IDENTITY.

I’ve Lost My Manhood, I Can’t Make Love Again, Says Kidnapper Wadume

Notorious kidnapper, Hamisu Bala alias Wadume, has claimed he can no longer make love because he lost his manhood in the incident in which three policemen and a civilian were allegedly killed by soldiers and subsequently led to the arrest of army captain.

Wadume escaped after the incident but was rearrested days later in Kano by police detectives. The suspected kidnapper is now undergoing interrogation since his rearrest.

He is reported to be giving a lot of information to the police.

Wadume said although the soldiers were out to rescue him from operatives of the Intelligence Response Team (IRT) that arrested him in Ibi on August 7 at about 6pm, one of the bullets they rained on the bus conveying them had injured his scrotum.

He added that he has observed that his penis no longer erects.

Wadume, 34, has four wives and four children with two of the wives.

“The other two are yet to conceive,” he said.

He narrated: “I was arrested by the police in Ibi on August 7. The police said I am a kidnapper and they handcuffed my hands and legs.

“On our way, we passed through an army checkpoint and after identification, they allowed us to go. We passed the second checkpoint which had mobile policemen and they also allowed us to pass.

“At the third checkpoint, we wasted a little time but they allowed us to go after the policemen told them they were detectives on assignment.

“Five minutes after we left that point, an army patrol vehicle started shooting at us. Our vehicle got hit, summersaulted severally times and crashed.

“When the bus stopped, all of us came out alive, except for bullet wounds. A bullet hit part of my scrotum.

“When I ran to my uncle in Kano state, he called a doctor to treat the bullet wound that affected my private part.

“It is possible, I cannot use it (manhood) again because of the damage and I have discovered that when I wake up in the morning these days, I no longer have erection”, he concluded.

Judging from his demeanor it looks like many things have changed about the billionaire suspected kidnapper since his escape and re-arrest.

His characteristic smile which often showed his tooth gap has eluded him. His eyes colour has turned, and he now walks with discomfort.

In spite of his manhood damage, the kidnapper said he is grateful that he is alive, having seen the three policemen and another person killed in his presence.

“Although, I did not ask soldiers to kill the policemen or anyone, I was happy when they rescued me. But I am happier now that the police have arrested me alive, instead of killing me,” he said.

Wadume however, has insisted he is not a kidnapper but a gunrunner, despite several testimonies against him by his victims.

“I am not a kidnapper, but I supply arms to different gangs. I make enough money as a supplier of riffles. I know I have committed a crime selling guns, but I am willing to change for good.”
