From the mood shown in the video, Samini might be planing a dope music video which involves the military or he is contributing his quota to ensuring the lockdown directives laid down by the president is enforced.

The President Excellency Nana Akufo Addo Ghana declared a partial lockdown of Accra and Kumasi effective 1 am on Monday, March 30, 2020.

The lockdown which was said to take effects in Accra, Tema, and Kumasi for a period of two weeks came to Ghanaian unexpectedly hence poor preparations towards it.

As measures to ensure to it that people adhere to this directive from the president, military men as law enforcement agencies were tasked to ensure this order but it seems their operation is done unprofessionally following the numerous reports.

A young man who has been beaten by security officials has come out to lament about the kind of treatment these security officials are giving to Ghanaians.

A young man who seems to have suffered in the hands of some soldiers during the lockdown has shared her video as gathered by AfricaCelebrities.Com

The man who looked beating in the video said:

“The government didn’t say this, the government said you can go and cash-out money for food, Government said to protect the human, and you are now killing the human, Why?’

Some parts of Ghana, under the directives of government began observing a partial lock down yesterday March 30, 2020 to contain the spread of COVID-19.

Personnel from the military and other security bodies were deployed to affected areas to ensure citizens follow the laid down rule but as human as we are, they caught some people flouting it.

Yesterday, a video of some military officers issuing all forms of punishment to some citizens for stepping out while they were suppose to be indoor popped up on the internet and has caught the attention of Gospel musician Sonnie Badu.

Dr Sonnie Badu was unhappy seeing the level of torture given to a citizen for disobeying a directive from the President took to his Instagram page to write;

“I really want to urge the military and the police in Africa to exercise wisdom and patience. Let’s understand that this virus has taken everyone by storm so that means it’s not going to be an overnight change. Let’s not use this to bully and toss human beings around, but help them understand the seriousness of this matter … Also remember, there are mobile phones around that could make you trend in a bad way … And oh, pls practice social distancing amongst each other because you are not above the law and clearly this virus is not a respecter of uniform … question, what if that man you are holding has it?“

Following the directive, there were some few recalcitrants who decided to do their own thing and damn the consequences.

Soldiers who have been patrolling the streets in their numbers were also on hand to offer instant punishment to them.

The streets of Accra witnessed an altercation between one officer of the Motor Transport and Traffic Directorate (MTTD) of the Ghana Police Service and a soldier wearing the Ghana Armed Forces military uniform.

No one knows what might have caused the confrontation but the two security personnel were engaged in a heated argument in the video.

The video shows pedestrians and passersby looking on as the the police and soldier went at each other in the verbal confrontation.

One other officer of the MTTD tried to calm the military man down by walking him away from the other MTTD officer with whom he was having the argument and talking him out of the imminent bout.

However, try as they did to calm the situation, the confrontation go heated the more. While the MTTD officer who was involved in the argument was talking angrily at the military officer, he [the military man] in turn decided to respond.

So the military man approached police officer and was gesturing to him as if to say he would knock him down with his fist.

Suddenly, things nearly got worse when the two went face-to-face as the soldier is heard telling the police man that if he dares him, he would grab him by the pant and slap him.

But the MTTD officer wasn’t going to back down. He said in response to the soldier’s threat that: “[You will slap me] here? You dare not. You can threaten those young ones but not me.”

Fortunately, at this point people intervened and walked the military man away from the MTTD officer, restoring calm on the streets again.
