PHOTOS: George Floyd’s Protest Hits Nigeria As People Gather At US Embassy
A group of Nigerian protesters have besieged the American embassy in the country’s capital, Abuja in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter Movement.
This protest is a spilled-over from the ongoing violent protests that has rocked many American cities after the death of George Floyd in police custody.
The deceased black man was arrested last week for buying an item with a fake $20 bill. Four policemen arrested him with one kneeling on his neck.
George Floyd after ten minutes lay motionless on the ground. He was then put on an ambulance bed where he unfortunately passed on.
His death sparked protests in Minneapolis and then to other cities in the United States. Many countries across the world have now witnessed the protests.
