Today February 4 marks the death of former Kenyan president Daniel Toroitich arap Moi. However, that’s not the only death announcement of the day.

The Kenyan entertainment industry has lost one of their own today – female rapper Razz Msupa aka Dee.

Her death announcement was first announced by rapper King Kaka who has worked in the past with the artist.

On a twitter post, King Kaka wrote “I am now ready for 2021, too much going on this year.

Just saw you yesterday at night and prayed, it’s sad that you are gone. Razz Msupa Tuko Ligi Soo!!! Safiri salama.”

Razz Msupa was one of the female artists in King Kaka’s song Ligi Soo remix that featured other female rappers like Femi One.

As the country mourns President Moi and Razz, they also mourn 14 students who died in Kakamega Primary School.

According to sources, the students had been running out of class on Monday February 3 at 5pm when a stampede occurred.

Wajinga Nyinyi hit-maker King Kaka sparked some overnight discussion after posting a plate of fried locusts on twitter.

The artist insinuated that he was having the meal for supper writing ” Odede Fry (fried locusts) , Managu na Ugali. Dinner is served.”

This post comes amid the North-eastern desert locust invasion that is also being experienced in Isiolo County and Meru County.

Since the desert locusts invaded North-eastern Kenya, the government has fought the invasion with shooting in the air (to scare the locusts) and using aerial sprays.

Reactions to the rapper’s post of the delicacy varied from shock to disgust to disbelief to sheer amusement.

“This government is wasting its resources by throwing teargas to such best meal ever…they should do away and apply the biological method (eating),” read one comment.

Another twitter user replied with “You eat that!!? Like I mean locusts! I can’t imagine myself eating them. Tell the government to stop wasting food.”

A comment expressing disgust at the post read ”King Kaka, you are spoiling my appetite please…hide some of these things.”

From the picture itself, I highly doubt that King Kaka prepared let alone ate the meal. He simply posted it to get people talking.

Back to the serious issue, the Government has deployed the Ministry of Agriculture to dispatch aircrafts to carry out aerial spraying.

The spread of the locusts from North- eastern region to Meru County comes as no surprise. Meru Jubilee Party chairman Joseph Muturia had predicted it.

In fact, 6 days ago, Mr. Muturia warned the government about their failure to contain the invasion and it’s possible spread.

In 1948, the locust invasion in Kenya led to a bad famine. If the locusts continue spreading to areas with cash crops, it will be a major disaster.

Others who made it on the list are champion Eliud Kipchoge, governor Mike Sonko, Miguna Miguna and Babu Owino. I must mention that the target population for this survey was Kenyans who are over 18. Furthermore, the sample size was 765 respondents who reside in both urban and rural areas.

The most outrageous pastor in Kenya, Pastor Ng’ang’a is shocking people yet again. He took to mainstream media to insult King Kaka and even dragged the rapper’s mother into it.

In a video going round on social media, Pastor Ng’ang’a calls King Kaka stupid. I must add that he insists on calling the rapper ‘Kan Kaka’ and ‘Kim Kaka‘ which is just outright shade.

The worst of the insults however was when he said that King Kaka’s mother is his girlfriend; a statement he kept repeating for emphasis. Check out the video below;

Exactly what the pastor achieves by insulting King Kaka is unknown. However, a lot of what Pastor Ng’ang’a says is for the sake of publicity. Even as a so-called man of God, no publicity is bad publicity for him.

King Kaka took to his Instagram to react to the video. He simply wrote “Kim Kaka is now Kan Kaka. Anyway, the message is home.”

Huddah Monroe is currently one very angry woman and she’s sharing her anger with the world. After fully supporting King Kaka following the release of Wajinga Nyinyi, new developments have made her withdraw that support.

According to the DCI , Kennedy Ombima aka King Kaka was never summoned by the agency. They claim that the rapper lied about the summon as well as the assassination attempt on him.
